Hello world!
I broke the blog. So, it’s time to start over. That’s the way the www bounces.
I hate it when I break things. The last blog was pretty good and I had written some stuff about some people I know. One is Gene Ballou, my friend in Texas. Although I have never actually met Gene face-to-face, I consider him my friend. But I haven’t been such a good friend. When his brother died it touched my heart in a profound way, but I never told Gene or even expressed my sympathy. Why don’t I do stuff I know I should do? That’s another post for another time. But for now, Gene, thank you for being an inspiration.
I had also written about Neil Shearing, a mate I’ve known (somewhat) for years through internet marketing. He needed to purchase software for afriend but it wasn’t available in the UK. I bought it for him here and he PayPal’d the purchase price. But in the process we both forgot about the PayPal fees. It was minimal and I didn’t think anything about it. But when Neil thought of it, he sent me the extra funds immediately. Bottom line; Neil is a straight-up guy. Integrity is the word that describes him. When I go to England I’m looking him up.
I had also mentioned Harris Fellman. I bought some software and realized I was actually eligible for an upgrade but had paid the full price. Harris found out and refunded me the difference. I don’t know Harris but he seems to be OK. We need more of this integrity thing.
OK, so here’s my “Hello World” post, the first post to my personal blog and I’m talking about my internet marketing buddies. And I didn’t even mention Adrian Ling, Jonathan Taylor, David Dutton, Kirk Ward, Stacie Bennett, Lynn Terry, or others I have the utmost respect for. But these are internet (and personal) acquaintances. So whaz up with these folks on my personal blog?
Fact is, I consider my family the most important people in my life. I just wanted to give these other folks the spot that got “lost” in the broken blog. You, my dear reader, will get to know my loved ones and appreciate why they are so important to me. You will laugh. And probably cry. It’s all good. Because God is good. You will see what I mean so stay tuned.
