Now, There’s A Real Man
Just because these guys have pretty legs, don’t underestimate their power. And yes, they go to the games but the play is serious.
I just wanted to take the time to introduce you to my friend, Brandt Jones. Here’s a picture of him with his son. I needed to get more details about these pics but I forgot. Next time I see him I’ll get more info and edit this post.

This is a great photo. You would never guess this guy has such a gentle spirit. Isn’t it funny how you just connect with some people? I see Brandt about once, maybe twice a month and from those visits of maybe 15 or 20 minutes we have become friends.
So, are you still making new friends? I hope so. If you aren’t, you’re missing out on the stuff of life.

It’s been a while since Russell posted this wonderful entry about me and I must take a moment to say a little something about Russell. It’s true that I came to know the Portwoods through short, sporatic encounters but in those few minutes here and there I came to know the family fairly well. Russell and Brenda are wonderful people and I feel so blessed to be able to count them among my friends. When my wife fell ill and my ability to deal with it became taxed these dear people offered their prayers for us both. Thankfully it turned out fine and I know that, at least in part, the prayers from the Portwoods helped…”the prayers of a righteous man availeth much…”
Even now, though my wife and I have moved to Florida, I still feel close to Russell and Brenda and I know I always will. Thanks to you both; I love you guys.

[blushing] Thanks for the kind words – but I must say you have been the blessing to Brenda and me. Isn’t it funny how He puts people together; the right people at the right time?
Anyway, although we are separated by miles I still feel close. It’s a privilege to count you as a friend.
OK enough mush! When you gonna come see us?
