[blushing] Thanks for the kind words - but I must say you have been the blessing to Brenda and me. Isn't it funny how He puts people together; the right people at the right time?
Anyway, although we are separated by miles I still feel close. It's a privilege to count you as a friend.
OK enough mush! When you gonna come see us?

It's been a while since Russell posted this wonderful entry about me and I must take a moment to say a little something about Russell. It's true that I came to know the Portwoods through short, sporatic encounters but in those few minutes here and there I came to know the family fairly well. Russell and Brenda are wonderful people and I feel so blessed to be able to count them among my friends. When my wife fell ill and my ability to deal with it became taxed these dear people offered their prayers for us both. Thankfully it turned out fine and I know that, at least in part, the prayers from the Portwoods helped..."the prayers of a righteous man availeth much..."
Even now, though my wife and I have moved to Florida, I still feel close to Russell and Brenda and I know I always will. Thanks to you both; I love you guys.
